Following the ever-increasingly pace of growth of the Internet, data storage devices, and data processing technologies, privacy preserving has emerged as one of the paramount issues in data mining. The issue has been widely studied given increase of sensitive data on the Internet. People are growingly expressing concerns about their privacy and personal information. To deal with this new demand, privacy preserving data mining (PPDM) has become increasingly popular because it allows sharing of privacy data for analysis purposes. However, there is a natural tradeoff between privacy and accuracy, though this tradeoff is affected by the particular algorithm which is used for privacy preservation.
