Welcome

My name is Lu Chen and I am a PhD student at the Ohio Center
of Excellence in Knowledge-enabled Computing (Kno.e.sis Center)
at Wright State University. My advisor is Dr. Amit P. Sheth.

I am broadly interested in text mining, natural language processing (NLP) and social
network analysis. My current focus is on sentiment analysis and subjective
information extraction.

My colleagues and I participated in the 2011 i2b2 challenge (Track 2).
We developed a hybrid system to identify fine-grained emotions in suicide notes.
